Webkinz codes are special codes that come on the tags of all webkinz pets. These codes will then allow you to adopt your webkinz pet online. Once you enter in your Webkinz codes to your account your pet will be added to your account. You can then do things with your pet like groom it, feed it, and customize a room for their pet.

You can easily adopt your lifelike virtual pet by entering in the Webkinz codes in the adoption center with a character who is named "Ms. Birdy". She will guide you through the process of adopting your pet online and get you started with the online site. An online adoption certificate will then be created for you to print if you so choose. Another benefit for adding the Webkinz codes to your account is that it will allow you to shop for items that will be needed for the survival of your virtual webkinz pet.

If your purchase a pet without one of these special Webkinz codes on them, you should exchange it at the store you purchased it at because codes can no longer be replaced. Make sure you leave these codes attached to your pet, or you keep them in a safe place so you have access to them in the future.
